DPSS  Dolphin Families

AIM: The aim of Dolphin Families is for family groups to participate in our Sunday morning activities while learning more sailing skills.

PURPOSE: Dolphins teaches skills to prepare for afternoon club racing. Some children may only need one term in Dolphins, others may need several before they begin racing.

WHO: Usually to join Dolphins, participants completed Tackers 1 and Tackers 2 courses, Start Sailing or can demonstrate basic skills sailing in a Tackers boat or Sabot. Dolphin participants are members of DPSS. There are individual and family membership categories. The Dolphins' program is run by experienced members and instructors. Families are encouraged to get involved with the club.

COST: The cost for Dolphins is $20 per person each Sunday. If you choose to sail your own two handed boat then the cost is $15 per person. Please pay at the Club House when the children are signing on for the morning

WHEN: Dolphins takes place on Sunday mornings from 8:30-11:30am at DPSS. 

BOATS:  Dolphins sail in the DPSS Quests. The instructors will teach participants how to rig and look after the Quests.
